I run a pump off my engine using a electric clutch with a timing belt off the crank with an auto. I believe its better because with a PTO if you throw the clutch you lose drive and winch. Mine is a warn 9000lb industrial with a different pump and set at 2750psi and it pulls at 152 feet per minute ...

the turbo sump is a mid bowl as opposed to the NA which is front bowl, have a look here, lots of good info on the swap

yer ya really need to find a Turbo 7m (7mgte) sump, oil pump, pickup and hardline and swap that in. You dont need to if you have normal shitty Hilux j-arm steering

You ncan use the auto belhousing, which is pretty common, and an adapter plate.

i should know this, but i dont.

do these arms only fit lux or some cruiser also, i need arms for my 40 and i think i remember being told the stud pattern is different.

Mate they do fit the cruisers 60-40s but you need to remember that the arms come with an 80 series taper for the tie rod ends ...

This company in Italy makes a PTO unit thats bolts to the side of the hilux transfers with the pto port

Ok got some pics of the Lexus adapter design, those who are interested, let me know what yoy think of the design. It will bolt directly to the back of the Lexus A341, you will need to cut the thread of the output shaft of the trans.
It will have a double row bearing that the spline coupler runs in ...
