my cruiser has heaps of gear on it and weighs heaps so my economy is allways going to be crap. on petrol it is around 23L/100 and on gas around 28/100. thanks guys, checked the plugs and the front left was full of mud and also broken. wires till connected so i cleaned it out and will see how i go.

if anyone has a spare plug i'd buy it.

BFG AT are crap in the wet, does anyone know much about micky thompson Baja ATZ Radial SLT, Dick Cepek Radial F-C-II or General Grabber AT2. the BFG muddies i am currently running still have 13mm of tread, i only want to change to make it drive better on road while towing. If i can find an an aggressive all terrain than i will prob change. Its just hard to choose the right tire.

i have the same problem with my 100 series. 2inch lift plus 30mm spacer at front. the knock was reduced after i replaced my front upper & lower shock bushes. this reduces that knocking noise heaps but i can still hear it slightly. Its got me buggered.

check the uni's they seem fine, no slip in them all is tight. the drive was sloppy all day yesterday and i jut went for a short drive about 10k and it didn't slop around nor did i hear that soft thumping noise. i got no idea what it is.

Mine was the front and read ARB lockers. All good now with them re-shimmed. Paul just wondering how the arb lockers effected / created the front slopply drive. thanks, i ended up putt the Eurogas injections system on and got 83k at the rear wheels. Not sure what that is in HP but i'm running 35" tires and the cruiser weighs over 3tonne with all my gear.

all surf prior to 1995 are pretty crappy, i got a KZN185 series which is the 1996 model change and they are a shit load better. Just sold mine and bought a cruiser though, well someone has verbally agreed to buy it.

gday mate im 6'4 and i have a swb maverick as well. I had the same prob. I bought a recaro seat and then went to ideal seats in moorabin vic and had them make me up a seat base to suit. they made it 2 inches lower than standard and 2 inches further back and know im all good.
