Lower seats

Post by st1mpy »

I just bought a new ride. A SWB Maverick, 4.2 petrol. I've taken it out a few times now but realised my head is just too close to the ceiling (I am 6 ft 7") . IOW: The seat is too high!
I was wandering if some other tall 4x4 driver might encounterd the same problem. And how did you solve it? Is there a lower seat from a other car that might fit directly in the Maverick?

Ask any P plater in Sydney.

They know how to lower seat in anything. Cops love the defect opportunity, as it gives them more for their resume when it comes to enforcing road safety.

Seriously, it common place in those buzz boxes.

I am going to mod my recaro (idealseat) mounts. There to high for me. Also for the seat I got there to close to the door. Theres an easy 20-25mm before they would interfer with the center console. Also going to need lower or my head will be resting on the roll cage padding all the time.

Comfy seat though.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY....
