these drivers are great. and can run LED's in series.

remember that Luxeons [or Seuols or Cree's] need to have a heatsink on them or they will burnout.

check out candlepowerforums.com for more LED related info.

years ago i put a set in a hilux, so much nicer than the stock bench seat. at first i just bolted them in, but found it too low, i ended up doing a 50mm spacer that i had bolted/welded between the rail and base plate and this made it perfect. about a year later i rolled it and wrote the car off ...

Pitto The wear starts in the c/v where the ball wears the outer, and on uphill corners, they start clicking. The c/v is 75% of the wear. The splines they run on also wear, and on early models, can get that bad, drive is lost, putting later (+8/92) drive plates and c/v's in stops it happening again ...

My cruiser was the first run of the 80 series. it has a mechanical speedo cable that runs off the side of the gearbox. the later models came out with the sender.

But what your saying is right, i will have to take note to see if the odometer stops when it has the next fit.

Diff repairs - Gold Coast

Hi All,

any recommendations on a diff repairer on the Gold Coast.

I replaced the oil the other week and it has now developed a nasty leak
around the pinion gear shaft.

Thanks for any info.

i was told this by an Auto Electrician, but there is a distinct cable [not wire} to the gearbox. The car is a 1990 gxl, one of the first run that came out with the 3f motor.
