Would anyone one put Penrite HPR 15-60 premium in there tb42 GQ's...? What does everyone use. With a viscosity that is so broad, i dont know what could be wrong with it. or should i just stick with good old HPR30???

ok well, mine is a tb42. therefore there is a timing chain and there is a timing chain guide, and there is a timing chain tensioner. Leaning towards either a worn guide or some sort of bearing, hopefully just a pully. My AC goes hard and my temp is totally normal. I have had this noise for about 5 ...

its an 88 4.2 petrol engine. done 262,000kms. engine is not over heating at all. we replaced all the belts about 3 months b4 the noise happened. I was on some rocks in low range i stopped the car to go fishing, got back to the car and there was a noise which i thought was sand flinging off the tyres ...

Bearing or timing chain??? or neither
Hi guys, i own a LWB 88 maverick and there is a pretty bad noise coming from the front of the engine. My boss thinks its either a bearing or timing chain tensioner.... it gets faster if u rev,and its really loud.. it sounds like a loud diesel engine. anyone had this experiance or can help me ...
