Outer Limits 4x4 Board

So...just noticed some serious puddling of oil under the old Rocky ('91 rocky/feroza se 1.6l). Therese a chunk out of the bellhousing of the tranny! how did that happen...
Anyway, the seals were gettin bad, the engine a bit old (200g).

Thinking about an engine/gear swap. Possibly to a diesel ...

ANd another thing...How in the heck do you over fuel?

and it may be usin oil. After I bought it And did the oil change, the oil didn't even register on the stick! It has an oil leak too though. So far I have put 380 miles on it, and the oil still reads full. That is a slow enough rate that I could easily afford ot feed it oil if it need be for some ...

I'm going to call it Blue. Sorta navy though. It only happens when I rev hard, to get that extra oomph up a hill.
Dow you guys just have all the equipment to test this stuff? or do you have to take it to a shop? I can do basic work, but I don't have a ton of specialized tools.

I want to put a snorkel on my rocky. It is purely for aesthetics though, as I may never be go through anything that needs one. If I did I'd get mired in for sure, as my rig is stock other than 30" tires and a k/n filter.
So, what are the advantages, and the disadvantages of a snorkel? do you lose ...

I got A 91 rocky. when I rev her hard to 4500 or so, i got some black smoke. It isn't dark dark smokke, just darker themn usual. Is it bad. What is it. And what do I do? thanks, Dan

actually, What rack do have on there? That is presicely what I want for mine. Don't you have trouble taking off the top with it on the back?

You nobody has tried the turbonator? The theory is solid, and I am sure it works, it says it is good for at least 10 ...

So, are Genie extractors accesible by me? Are they 4-2-1? do they have flex pipe to fit?
