No what you need is a good fitter to do the install thats all.
I do a really nice Tartarini VSI, or lpg vapour injection system for all Prado's. They run amazingly well, will not backfire (EVER) and give the best performance, especially for towing, excellent economy and absolutely seamless ...

fitting LPG (dual fuel) to Prado

hi,

just wondering where they put the gas tank to a V6 prado? do they sling it underneath? as you wouldnt want it inside, but the prados have the extra petrol tank, so there wouldnt by much room underneath(?)

whats the norm?

cheers,

Previously we had a hard top, high roof Sierra which was great.

we want something that is reasonably economical, lots of interiro room, seats at least 6 so i have arrived at ...

my friends Explorers rear diff just died!!

Rear diff fell apart apparently - just a warning - if your ABS light comes on might be similar as apparently ...

Is there anyway by looking at a Patrol to tell whether it is a 4.2D and not a 2.8?

As in the ads there are a fair few that just say "turbo diesel" without mentioning what engine

If it is an ad for a GQ and says 'Turbo Diesel' probably 99% it will be a 2.8, because the 4.2 never came standard ...

Jeep Vs Patrol

Gday,

i have been looking at GQ Patrols and would like the 4.2Diesel, but it was suggested to me to have a gander at the Jeeps, which are a little smaller but there is a diesel in them as well and at good prices.

i have just had a flick through the tradingpost and there does seem to be a few Jeep ...

where does the 4.2Diesel come from?

hi,

just wondering if anyone knows where Nissan gets the 4.2 Diesel from? as they dont sell it overseas, only here in Aust - which is fairly suprising seeing as we are such a small marketplace.

other countries must have just got the 2.8 TD and now the 3.0TD (Beside petrol motors)??

cheers,
Shem
