going to buy a zook
i found a nother http://cgi.ebay.com.au/1987-Suzuki-Sier ... dZViewItem looks ok but i am now starting to wana do it all my self
91 SWB Sierra. 16v 1.6efi, extractors, 6.1gears, SPOA, 32 BF muddys and 2inch bodylift
im in the same boat. I'm also 16 and looking at a zook soonish. interesting thread. im gonna look at a 2 inch lift. i would like to run 31s. My zook would mostly be for off road mud rock and hill climbs and i only live 10 mins from the state park so thats good.
My goal is to have rock hoppers. 31 inch simex extreme trekkers and a rear locker. that prob wont be untill a 6 -12 months after buying it. There is no point modifying a 4by which is ruff and unreliable

That one on ebay looks a bit shonky!
There is or was a very nice suzuki stockman(ute) on there the other day!
Goodie I'm 17 and got my zook just before i got my L's and only live 20 from the tracks but a zook with 31's will probably go as far as any thing with 35's!
I will probably end up on 31-32's but just get to know the car you brought before you go modding it!
They are certainly the funnest 4x4 out there and mine keeps up with trucks with F&R lockers and 33's easily!
They are awsome fun!

yer that ebay one does look a little rough and shonky.
yer i wouldnt mind a ute zook i seen it its under drover isnt it?
this wouldnt be it would it http://cgi.ebay.com.au/1-6-suzuki-sierr ... dZViewItem look liek it could use a little work. but its form melbour which sucks as i am in sydney. so transfering rego ect will suck balls. it also has extractor which is an 'engine mod'
found the perfect beast!! http://cgi.ebay.com.au/1991-Suzuki-Sier ... dZViewItem

The ute one was what i was originally looking for with the vitara engine and looking micky mouse all ready! Couldn't find a decent one of them at the time so went for tin top to go the cut then mine was cheap so i went for it and was probably the thing i could of done!
The second one certainly looks to be in good nick and has some petensial!
Are you going to bid on it? and join the zooks?

looks like a very clean little car and if never off road should be exactly what your looking for, however, with 178 clicks on it and you looking at your first car which will more than likely be with you for a while, id be looking very closely at engine condition. Thats getting dangerously close to rebuild time if it hasn't had one so factor that into the price too. That said, you may be up for that on many zooks these days and at least this one doesnt need any body work etc.brendan_h wrote:
