Imposable to do with the air box in place, just not enough room. Can’t get you hand, fingers or anything else in there because of the bracing on the frame, and the bottom of carbs is only about an inch above the case. With the air box removed would be just doable with a bent screw driver ...

OK, been on the Kawasaki forum, the thoughts are 2 1/3 to 2 1/2 turns out, then out until the idle peaks then in a bit. How do you do this with 4 carbys?
Do you just go up and down the line a heap of times, what about when you put the air box back on will that stuff things up?

I have Kawa ZX 6, pulled the carbys down to clean, in the manual it states to "screw idle mixture screws in until seats, then unscrew counting the turns so as to replace in the same position". Who reads the manual first?

On the subject of caster wedges, I have a 06 Hilux with Ironman rear leaves which raises the rear about 3 inches, should I put wedges in? If so what degree?

I asked a while ago to have a cable re-crimped such as yours, maybe 2 mtrs. was told that the re-crimp wouldn't be rated as the original. As the cable has been used it has become thinner, therefore a 8mm swage will be too large, same for 10mm.

From what I can gather from the fleet angle tables, is, if the drum is 300mm wide the first sheave is somewhere around 20 ft. away from the drum. Or I maybe missing something here.

I'm trying to find the part # for a Detroit Truetrac to suit the rear of a 2006 lux D4D. Have been in communication with suppliers in the US but have been given 3 different p/n's, 913A610, 913A348 & 913A321. The Aussie suppliers are reluctant to hand out the number.
