it does have a tendancy to play up and if it does play up it's off throttle. i'm leaning towards too much fuel as well but i just can't seem to get it right so i thought i would see what others thought. thanks for the thoughts - i'll put some effort into mixtures again to get more air in to th ...

Thanks bill but unfortunately it's on petrol. My thoughts are that it is carby related somehow but working how exactly is the problem.

Hi all, My GQ petrol 4.2 runs ok with the foot down but when i back off and put the clutch in to slow or change gears the revs drop way down to anywhere between 100 -300 rpm. Once the car comes to a complete stop the revs come up to normal again 800rpm. I am hoping it is as simple as tuning but i ...
