Hi all. What are the most common places that these motors have oil leak problems. And is there much involved in fixing them?

Mine done that as well. Lights came on but they didnt go off I have also heard some of the models around 89/90 have front mounted pump and some rear guess it just makes it a little more confusing

Hi all, Ive got a 2.8d lux. I had the altenator reco'd about 12mths ago after it shat itself when i hit a decent puddle of water on the road after heavy rain. I put the lux into some water up the bush today and the dash lights are on again which tells me its playing up. Are these a commomn problem ...

I have a 90 2.8d hilux. I had a drama with the altenator when it got wet about 12mts ago. Got it reco'd was going great. Got it wet today now all the lights are on again. Are these not very well protected. Anyone got any ideas/suggestions.

looking at replacing springs and shocks in my 90 model 2.8d hilux. Would like to add 2"lift aswell. Anyone got preference on brands etc for good on & off road. Also estimate price if youve done it if possible.

I had to replace the little gear in mine. Only cost a few bucks. Not too hard to replace.

Both are good but from my experience selling both you would be better off with the engel. Better motor and less problems.

Hi all, just wondering if there is any suggestions for a larger altenator to suit an 87 1.3l sierra? Dont know if possible but any help is appreciated.
