yeh i found the dizzy one after about an hour of trying to get the head off....

i couldnt see it cos there was oil pooled over the top of it
sneeky bugger :P

is it only the 10 or so head bolts hold the head on?? or is there some sneeky ones hiden in teh timing case or under the rocker gear????

sub box and amp rack cost me about $300 in materials (inculding cooling fans, relay, led's, fiberglass, resin, timber, etc...
and about 10 hours work

if u only wanna work with timber.. pioneer have brought out slim line subs for single cabs.. and iv only heard good thing about them

The Lokka will work a treat on the set up you have. What motor is in the Gem ? 300 hp would be a weapon . fj20 turbo :) air locker is ideal. leave it open for mild street, then lock it up for strip/circuit. yes the factory clutch pack is weak but that's nothing to worry about, 300HP will shred hilu...

this hilux diff is in my gemini (not my 4x4 :P).. want it to be nice for street driving and curcuit work.. able to handle 250-300hp at the wheels.. iv heard the factory clutch LSD arnt very strong in this kind of aplication? or is that just a myth? i woudl assum 4x4 abuse to be more punishing then s...
