odd request

Post by NISMOgemini »

so i got a defect for no head rests in my hilux...

i dont wanna buy new seats just so i can get the defect lifted.. i have head rests for my seats but i dont particuarly wanna cut the trim to fit them back in..
so i was hoping if someone who has a surf or duel/king cab front seats being unused or sitting dorment in a project ute i could borrow them for a few days.. ill pay "rental fees" if needed and ill leave a bond or some kind colateral even a copy of my license and details if your worryed about damage or me flogging them..

this is needed some time with in the next 3 weeks... and somewhere around brisbane/goldcoast etc..

thanks
Gene

Any reason you don't want headrests? They do more then just give you something to lean your head against, they help prevent neck injuries in an accident.

Maybe you can cut a little hole in them, hand sow around them so they don't tare and put your own head rests in and maybe do a scmick job of the head rests. Better than a broken neck. Most injuries in accidents are neck injuries so it may be a good idea.

do you have to take the car anywhere to have it checked. a mate got done for no mud flaps and just has to send in a stat dec to say its been done.

i reckon just double sided tape them on.

I be more bothered about the back of my head and would have headrests no matter what. That a strong bar behind your head.

Have you considered attaching yoru headrests to the behind the seat metal work, just below the window?
