I dont know if this works in VIC, but in NSW they can be rego'd as long as you get them engineered, which may also mean a few other things to be done, but you dont need to convert them to RHD (its been done with a 416) From memory there is no '25 Year' rule, the vehicle needs to be Pre-ADR which is ...

Im looking at getting 37s on a 10 inch rim ,The trails me and mates hit up are only 5 mins away from home so probably wouldnt matter anyway the cops would be more worried about the tyres and not quite legal yet lift So you're going to be driving on the street with illegal tyres & wheel size anyway ...

Long story and not really for public broadcasting. It was a combination of things, nothing really to do with TT.

Its an age old question (read Arguement) If you talk to the tyre and rim association, they will tell you that any modification to a rim makes it illegal for on-road use. So that rules out Stauns and weld on bead locks. However, as hard as I try I can't get a comment on manufactured beadloc rims (ie ...

There were Warn dealers in the US who have dumped Warn over Superwinch, if that says anything. In 24V there is probably the biggest difference. Watn use 12V Solinoid packs where the Superwinch use true 24b Solinoid packs. We have a few comning over, one 165000lb is for the Mog Tuff Truck, I have a ...

Do you have to convert them to right hand drive? Why would DOT allow these to be registered? Kinda unnecessary on the roads. Don't get me wrong, a brilliant truck but why can these be registered? the lobe sensing version does not have the magnetic ring that the standard kit has. To fit the magnetic ring you need to remove a little lip off the dizzy shaft. The lobe sensing one does not need this. Both seem to work. I ran the LS model with no problems and took about 30min to fit. I got my lobe ...

They are a 1 ply steel sidewall and at around 10PSI they bag quite nicely, especially with the weight of the mog on them. Off road I will run them around 8psi with the internal beadlocks.

The guys that design these in the US can make them removeable, so thats what we will be doing so its wont get much attention driving on-road

Continental AC70G Muddies

Just picked up my new Muddies for the Mog. A set of 335/80R20 Continental AC70G MPT (MultiPurpose Tyres)

They are road legal and speed rated to 55mph or about 10mph faster than the Mog will go ;)
