thanks had alook at the motor etc for sale but have my eyes set on another.

The problem is I have just done up my 4 speed gearbox not long ago. It is in A1 condition and that is why I want to keep the original 4 speed gearbox.

Any other helpful suggestions or info on the 2L motor

What is the average price on a 2L and a 3L??? can they both just bolt in?

No it is not that smokey. It smokes huge amounts of white smoke when cold at start up and then only whit-grey smoke when it is underload otherwise it is fine. So not sure what it is?
