what tube to use

about to nock up full external roll cage need to no what tube is the most common to be used. is mild steel the go (easy to work with but heavy) or is something out there a bit better.

all my flanges ( diffs and transfer) are smaller in over all diameter and the bolt holes are smaller then the 89' model flanges (which should be WT) which means mine are NT of 1 litre. are they the the same flange.

i got fined for the same thing in my old seirra, only reason he did me was because i was speeding but he could'nt prove it ( not everyday a 'stock' seirra beats a patrol car down a straight section of road hey)

not so sure as i bought a transfer case from the wreckers apparently out of a 89' seirra. because i broke the casing of my origanal transfer. when i compared flanges the 89's were larger in diameter and the bolt holes were larger as well. the casings were identical though

it a 96 1 litre 4speed cab chassis need to know (a) what drive shaft bolt pattern does it have
(since it has wide track diffs as stock i was a bit confused, but im presuming they have just put one litre flanges on the wide track diffs)
i need to know for driveline spacers.

relocating chassis number

i have a 96' stockman and want to shorten the rear of the chassis, but have a big problem, the chassis number is on the section i want remove, has anyone run into this problem or know how one would possibly go about relocating the number.
