The other day while out 4bying my 80 series fuel guage (main tank) got stuck on Half way. After a bit of rugged off road, the guage started working again till it hit half way. i was in a white 80 ser we drove cp 1 diditn get any points as we stoped 3 times we went around cp2 and then on the way to cp 3 after the bog hole the ruts wear huge and we didint want to do anymore damage to the car

a lock right is 1200 now they are to much now u can get a lock right under a diffrent name from 4x4systerms in sa for 600 but the real lock right is 1200

a frend has an lsd in frount off his 80 and it is really good while he has foward momentum but as soon as he stops going forward they mite as well be open i would go for a locker not much moire for a f locker then a f limo

yes they do disingadge only time they dont in on greay stuff when u dont back off full power grezzy hill soem times dont dissingage but in the rear who cares if it dont axles are strong as in 80s more stress on forunt adn we have had no probs

get an air locker dont need to steer wit ha toyota they will just keep going fowards make thear own track lol jk lockers are good but if u have trubs steering now maby steering is a good idear first how eva if u cant steer u can always flick the locker off

we have a lockright in 80 and cv no go boom yet one is click but that frome having wheel lifts at high revs and coimeing down and geting tration but they have been driven petal to the meadle every second weekend for the last 6 mounths befor it has started clicking 100 ser have inderpendent ...

a body lift can be done on a landy just need to make new brakerts any one wanting to buy a ser 3 ute

we have a lock right in the frount off the 80 and would it is ok some times can be a pain but soem tiems is good as frennds have forgot to tun the air locker 0ff befor and backed up a hill and broke cvs the lock right dissingages well most off the time

it dont mater what u drive cvs and axles etc will brake if u hit the gas hard we have oneabout to go in ur 80 as w ehave a lock right and had one wheel in a rut on a side slope and steerd away to make slop less and it didint like it now it clicks when we lift a wheel and get traction at full note lol

nissan are good and stonger in diffrent thigs now do u guys belive me 35 inc tyres and diff locks make any cv go tho

iam talking about an 80 ser to a QG pul them out look at them both together and try both out for every 1 toyoat iv seen do a cv i see at leas 3 nissan this is what i have seen anyway maby u guys have had diffrend

toyota cvs are stronger than nissan iam in a club and all the nissans with lockers always do cvs whne they go hard and they just hjave 4.2 d some turbo off road wise (iam a toyta fan) but they are both the same off road it comes donw to the driver and thigs u have bolted to it as far as i can see

hey sam u can weld tags on the mounts iv been told dont know how true it is all the guys in ur club do it to thear GQs if u are looking for another landy i am selling a ser 3 ute with a 250 crossflow in it for around 1800

on the GQs u have to wach the fire wall crakcs on them if thye have been use off road alot u have to jook hard but some times thear is heaps off hair line cracks and sand and shit get in and make it rust is a big problem with the nissans have had frends buy them and fire wallls rust out a year later
