80 Series Sliders

Post by brooksy »

Just a quick question with regards to 80 Series Landcruiser chassis.......

Are all 80 series chassis the same??? I ask as I have a customer who wants a set of 80 series sliders but have heard from someone else that not all chassis are the same, so I just want to confirm this before starting the job.

I have only done 1 set of 80 series sliders before and just wanted to know if my drawing would suit all 80 series Landcruisers. (Ignoring the obvious body lift issues & diesel exhaust that run outside the chassis on drivers side).

Im sure that all the chassis's are the same except for the engine mounts which are in different spots between petrol and diesel... And twin cam petrols have the exhaust on the outside of the rail too, not sure about the 3F ones though....
