G'day mimmo 321 I can fit 36x12.5x16 on a 2'' lift but i had to remove the defender flares and replaced them with rubber ones dont forget about your radius arms if you want to run big tyres you'll probably end up losing a bit of your turning circle cause the rub I used to run 33" exterrains on a 2'' lift with the flares still intact & plenty of clearance hope this helps
defender 110,4.6,auto,36simex,maxidrive everything. "JEEP" your right, I dont understand????
They are 34x10.5x16's but only measure about 9.5" wide and height wise just a little under 34"..... http://www.intercotire.com/site36.phpmimmo321 wrote:34 swampers how wide are they? they dont rub at all thats a decent size tyre.
I ran 34" JT2's before the Swampers and will never go back

3 years ago I shopped around until I got a lowest quote of $245 per tyre - but they have probably gone up since then.mimmo321 wrote:i got a price on the 255/85r16 bfg muddy which is a bit over 33" for $$285.00 ea. has any one seen much better

I wouldnt go back to a simex....dont get me wrong they are a great tyre and hold there own but i just feel the swamper is a better all round tyre.mimmo321 wrote:never go bak to the jungle trekker or the swamper? i was gunna get a jt2 wat were they like
If conditions changed in Victoria and it became the wet, muddy place it once was then i would re consider the simex....until then its swampers for me...
Havent gotten a price on 255/85 bfg muds for a while but i paid 270 for 33x10.5x15 bfg muds about 12 months ago...so $285 sounds reasonable.

I run 35x12.5x15 Goodyear MT/R's with a 2" spring lift on a County 110. Had to cut the flares to stop them rubbing and adjusted the steering stops so they didn't rub on the arms.

Pics of before and after the guard chop that show where it was hitting on both the flares and the arms are located here

mtr's
i've had a couple of set's of MTR's and they've been the best set of 'all-terrain tyres' (that you can run as a every day tyre) bar specialist tyres e.g creepy's, simex, etc. on the market. although i found the 285/75/16's alot nicer on the ear, and wore better then 33 and 35/12.5.15's (must be the wider tead blocks), but are a very good tyre.
P.S i now have 35/12.5/15 maxxis creepy crawlers and will never look back!!
P.S. my road tyres are still 33/12.5/15 MTR's when i can be bothered changing them!
