Has anyone done this conversion? How did it go? Does it work well? I don't like the idea of the wheel falling off if I break an axle. This kit converts the rear to floating hubs same as the front including free-lock switch and disc brakes (as front) all in one..
Would be a handy ANTI-THEFT measure too! Unlocked rear hubs go nowhere

NO IT WON'T. The kit includes handbrake on each disc. Disc is bolted to wheel. If disc is stopped by caliper so is wheel.Aerenandmel wrote:It would go somewere......it would roll away without a handbrake...............want33s wrote: Would be a handy ANTI-THEFT measure too! Great kit if you wanted to flat tow your zook. For the money and effort though, just go to cruiser axles, full floating, more strength and width
Engineering approval would probably be required as it is a major modification as to how the the wheel and axle is located.
Layto....
