What size tyres are you running? If it's to fit bigger rubber you could try a different offset wheel and some radius arm spacers.

This would save lifting the centre of gravity and keep it more stable but still have a little more room for some bigger tyres.

Also with a little chopping of the guards anythings possable.

Just another option thats all.

Why do you want to put packers in if your getting new springs?
Just buy the springs at the height that you want.

Packers were designed to level your vehicle.

then all you need is the 3inch lift for 35/36's and go a body lift for $100ish and your done.. also will be much more stable than a 5inch with plastic packers....

Which ones? 35's will fit with the 5" springs without packers, but for 38's you'll have to trim the guards no matter how high you go.

I've just dropped mine to 5" lift as they are too unstable offroad any higher than this.

yeh am having second thought as we went to city some time back and come to think of it the lift ones seemed to have trouble with the hill climb etc.

Yes thats the problem I was having with mine. Being locked in the front didn't really help either because you could feel it getting light in the front end and trying to slide sideways.

I was running 37s with an 8 inch lift but I still needed to do a fair bit of chopping. Once I chopped it back a bit I could have run them with a 2inch body 2 inch suspension easy. The lift wasn't really helping that much.

I left the lift in though to run bigger tyres but for 37s I would have definently went back to 4 inch in total.

Cheers Mick.
