Generally they operate at either 20 or 30 degrees and it is as easy as wooders says. Buy a few lengths of shs, cut it all up with the grinder, weld it all back together in the shape of a ramp.

Anyone know of this formula?udm wrote:the basic formula is distance/wheelbase*1000
then there is a pro formula which i dont have, which corrects for different ramp degrees, etc.

RTI = (h/b) * (1000/Sin(A))
where:
h = height of the bottom of the tyre off the ground
b = wheelbase
A = angle of the ramp
It's essentially the same formula as UDM described but the distance along the ramp is expressed as h/Sin(A). This means the formula will work without even using an acutal ramp, or a ramp of any angle.
