whats the ideal positive castor degree
just got baack from the tire mob after getting an alignment done
left front is negative 1' 44 right front is neg 2'
got 3 degree castor bushes coming soon
that will get me back to about the positive 1" mark
has 3 inch lift with a packer in the right front .right fronts alwasy seem to sag.. engine torque and driver im guessing
i'v got a spare set of 5" plates in the shed.
these will make to much positive castor wont they.,.?

engine soon to be honking ;-)
too much caster with big tyres will cause tyre wobbles at high speeds
try to avoid any type of any non-rubber bushes for your radius arms, you'll lose a fair amount of flex - any bush over 2.5 degrees of change and you'll lose flex
try the plates first, and see how it goes.. especially if you have them already!
not running 35's or nothing like that.just 33's 12.5" r 15
yeah might try the plates and if they dont work, drive back in the shed and put the bushes in...it's never ending.lol wont have time until the wknd now tho..i'l keep posted
what do all the gu owners out there with a 3 inch lift use..?
must say tho with my old gq i had a 3 inch lift(just coils and shocks),1 inch body lift, 33's.flogged the absolute guts out of it and never got it balanced or aligned and drove fine.. newer cars must be more sensitive.although the gu isnt much more than a gq is it..

ok cheers
i assume you have 5 deg plates in
they dont make 4 deg do they in the plates
trial and error i suppose, try 3 deg bushes then allignment if thats fine leave it.if not then 5 deg plates then get alignment done again.
thanks
