Hi guys, just wondering what i can expect from these tires. There new, 32x10.5R15. and how many kms i can expect if i run them on the tarmac.
I do about 40kms a day on them to work and then off road on the weekend, so if i could id like to leave them on. Slightly noisy, i know, but what in terms of milage can i realy expect from them?
I dont wanna shag them straight off.
any info/experience would be much appreciated.
Also compared to other tires, are they a hard or soft compound?
regards

They handle not that well, wear very fast especially on the side lugs are noisy, rough and most are bias ply I think??
The thing with most muddys is that the tread depth may last a while... but offroad they start to suck as they wear down due to not enough void space remaining.
The best things about pedes (and any tyre) is when they are new with the sharp edges on the tread blocks. You daily drive them, that'll be gone in no time and you've wasted your dough.
Not to mention they will NEVER handle even close to a more intermediate style tyre, on road.
Get a set of dailys, I have a set of ET's and I rekon I can see them peel away as I drive on the black top (ok, probably an exaggerated placebo, but you get the idea). Plus they handle like a pig and are about as quiet as Boeing, and IIRC 'illegal' onroad.
Having said all that, if i was rich i'd prolly have them as daily's cause they look
Wow! thanks for the quick replys guys, much appreciated. I think ive done roughly 100kms since new and yeah, ill be getting a set of dailys. Ell cheapo Duelers id recon. Ive got scorps on my daylies at the mom ent, but there shot.
Once again, very, very much appreciated for the exellent info on this board.

agree - Simex coat the road with rubber - they dissapear visibly on a weekly basis. Luck if you'd get 20K out of them before the centre blocks are gawn!
Nice gq swb ute chop with a huffer for the good times
okies, so ill be using them for play on the weekend, but... that leaves me without a set for the weekday.
trying to keep it on the cheap here,. so what should i go for in regards to tires for the weekday? should i go for a 32inch set or just standard 31x10.5R15?
can i get tires in 32 inch that hold themselves on the road? Or would it be best to just go for the cheapest standard 31x10.5's i can find?
any suggestions?
