diff and spring Q?

Post by rover1 »

has anybody moved there lower spring base on the diff to get it back somewhere near level after doing a lift?

i've just modified my spring mounts top and bottom (gq wagon), the old rancho's had some hugh rub marks in them from the springs, i've just got new shocks and dont want to stuff them.

the wagon has 6" dobo springs in the rear with standard lenght arms top and bottom, i dont want to lenghten the lower arms because that would mean more guard chopping, and i cbf doing it.

any tricks to moving the lower spring bases, it looks tight, dont know if i'll be able to weld them back on..
cheers Pete.

Trimming the guard would be easier than moving your lower spring base. It's a sh1t of a job.
