Rocky front grille?

Post by RockyF75 »

Anyone got one? I broke mine on a tree (don't ask) and the front ends ugliness without one is starting to annoy me. Wrecker wants $120 odd, and I haven't dared ring and get a price on genuine  It only a little bit of plastic :?

Failing that, has anyone made their own version? I was thinking jeep style, too confuse the people who already think its a jeep :D .

Is your a non turbo F70? or more importantly, non intercooled, so in other words, the early flat round headlight version. If so, I have about 3 or 4 of them. Whats it worth.

Seriously, if you think it can be posted, would a six pack do?? I just didn't think a bulky plastic thing would be postable :?

Well, seeing as I work for AP, just about anything is able to be posted. I have had a replacement 2.8 come up through the mail. All 240kg of it. Cost, nothing. :D :D :D

Send me a PM, and we will see what we can work out. Sending a 6 pack back through the mail could be a bit difficult. We do get cartons of wine through the mail, but occasionally, a bottle or two gets broken.

Otherwise, if your going to TT07, I can organise for it to be delivered. I am going down on the bike, but a mate is driving down, taking a bag of gear for me, and a grill shouldnt be a problem.

And as for being a tightass, I gotta make a living somehow. :finger:  :finger:
