im thinking of building my own feul tank to sit next to the driv shaft on the 88 LWB GQ patrol, how easy is it really? any6 on with photos of this been done??

You can already get these, they are fitted when converting to dual fuel, should be able to get one from a wreckers easy enough.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.

If so i wouldnt bother building one when you get them for $500-

Not sure if they are long ranger but the ones i'm talking about are used for lpg conversions after removing the original to place the lpg tank.
I would think maybe $200 or so 2nd hand ?
