Wondering if anyone else on here running a G16B and the vit airbox in a sierra. I would like to add a 3" snorkel on to the system and also have the dual batts in there.
I have the batts mounted so that the second batt is a mirror position to the original one and airbox is down the passenger headlight area.
I can post pics better pic if needed.
This is when the tray was nearly in mock up.

A photo of the air box internals would be handy too
I was thinking of running down the passenger side as they do with the drivers side
Come down the passage in the guard (within the enginebay behind second battery) with flexable hose
Silicone the hose into the side of airbox or do something a little sturdier with a 75mm PVC pipe bend

G'day i run the same motor setup, with a vl commodore airbox which sits in the position where u have mocked up that 2nd battery tray. I have dual batteries but they run down the drivers side of the car. They were like this when i got it. I would like to relocate one of the batterys to the other side in the corner as you wish to do as the second more forward battery at times rubs on the bonnet, and find a new home for the airbox and attach a snorkel at the same time. It'll be interesting to see what u come up with.

Fool - thats what i was thinking as running flexible to the outer gaurd and then 3" exhaust from there, should just sneak past the 2nd battery.
This does have a 2" BL as it is hard to fit the engine in without one without cutting bonnet supports.
Btw the battery tray is to suit the same size batt i use on the other side. biggest i could fit in the std spot. (22fr-520)(520cca) charcoal canister also mounts to the side of this.
More pics of who wanted them.

Sorry for off-topic, but WTF is with that piece of metal sticking up from the right-hand side of the pic between the battery box and where the air filter goes?
Yep OL ones look good. i will be doing similar it looks like with a 90' adapter out of gaurd and rubber elbow or straight out rubber and then the 90 and rest in exhaust pipe.
still debating using like some have also used all rubber bends and straight sections of pipe in between.
going vit airbox as they look better than the 1.3 style and another box means more $$. I will have a look at them, limited in space in what i can fit in.
must be more people with this airbox
