Yes. Works through the abs on all wheels.

and is said to be more gentle on the diff and axles etc, though I have difficulty seeing how.........nevertheless, a very effective system refined even further in the D3, to the point where technological interventions have perhaps become superior to human interventions??

Because it prevents the wheel in the air spinning like mad, then dropping back to mother earth at a rapid rate :roll:
