27mm super deep socket? and where can i get 1?

Post by shorty_f0rty »

hey fellas..

doing a removal and refit of the injectors on my 3b (swapping reco'd injectors between two 3b's)..

and I have been advised by the fellows on ih8mud that I need a Super Deep 27mm socket to get the injectors out..

I have rung around a few places but without much luck (superheap/repco/aussie auto)..

can anyone recommend where I could find one of these? or even loan one?

cheers!

I've always just used a 27mm ring spanner.

$20 for one spanner hole moly moly moly moly moly

tube spanner would be the go, weld an old socket to the back of a tube spanner and you would be able to torque it up.
