Second Power Supply

Post by Wilko76 »

Hey All

The previous owner of my GU had an Engel connection installed in the rear to suit his engel fridge.

I am looking around for a fridge to bye and don't want to have to get engel due to connection.

for those who know a bit about engel connection, can you get an engel male fitting to standard 12v female connection?

This then will allow me to use any fridge withoug rewiring the connection to standard 12v.

Does this make sense?

Just take out the Engel socket, and install a standard cig socket if if suits you better, or put one next to the existing Engel socket.

The other option is to buy a male Engel plug, and wire an inline cigarette socket to it, as I don't think you can buy a direct adapter.
