bolt on shock hoops

Post by bad_religion_au »

Has anyone come across a source for bolt on shock hoops, or does anyone have a line on the ford F250 shock towers?

some of this was discussed on Twisty's 40 buildup thread..

http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/viewtopic ... 418#959418

There is a number for a guy in Clontaf that believes he sells them but I haven't had a chance to check this out..

yeah, onto a 40, but really, if it's bolt on, it'll bolt to anything won't it.

i may have found an import place to get me some shock towers, just gotta see if shipping will kill the deal,

i can see if a bulk order will help. that's 13 bucks US each, 26 a pair.

i can see redistributing them could be a pain in the arse tho, so might be easier to just order individually... but i'll wait and see what they quote for shipping

ok. they want 120 US to ship a 13 dollar part. i've asked them how much the price'd go up if i added a few more pairs to the order.

most ford parts joints i've gone too have stared at me blankly. a few wouldn't tell me if they were available until i quoted a VIN number, and a few told me that they couldn't get them

The part number needed # E5TZ18183A sells for $9.67 each, and the USPS freight will be

-- Global Express Mailâ„¢ (EMS) (Calculate Guaranteed Date) 3 - 5 Days $63.70
Airmail Parcel Post 4 - 10 Days $59.30
Economy (Surface) Parcel Post 4 - 6 Weeks $29.60
Is it beer o'clock yet??

search part number E5TZ-18183-A

should be list price ~13 bucks, ~10 wholesale.

add to cart

make sure you order 2 :D

checkout

put in your address... and the best bit, it quotes 8 bucks for ground shipping... so i've orded myself a set, thought anyone else interested might wanna get on board

all prices US.

i have no affiliation with the site, apart from ordering my shock towers through it
