does anyone know what a disco potato is.

i assume its a kind of turbo. there seems to be a lot of mention about it.

the disco potatoe was a custom garret project for the srDET20 turbo motors it was good upgrade as it came on boost early and still revd out...

Check the Garret site, they should have info on it.
It was a GT28 i think. Ball bearing jobbie..

You can get them for $1250 or so if you shop around.

HPIABOX used to do specials every now and then so maybe just ask them for a discount.

Also look on nissansilvia.com in the sponsors section, likely someone has a deal on turbos.
