mq divorced transfers

Post by mikesmith »

hey guys

can the back of a gearbox that is from a divorced transfer\gearbox setup be un bolted and put onto a gearbox that was a joint transfer\gearbox??

or are they totally different gearbox's??

just wondering as i would like to be able to make my 5 speed into a divorced setup and use a transfer from a different truck.

not sure if its feasable but need the mq guru's out to let me know.

thanks

mike

But will the threaded portion on the back of the mainshaft prevent the driveshaft yoke from fully engaging the splines? I suppose it could be cut off :?:
