reduction gear sets for 75 series
just wondering if any one has reduction gear sets in thier thier 75s and what reduction suits you best, im running a v8 and 37s but the tyres have killed me of road, im looking at the marks sets and they seem good with the 8% reduction in high range, but do i go for a 44% or 55% reduction in low range
thanks rob
thanks rob
come on move over and let the 75 through
Im here for the sausage!
lower is better. even at 55% lower low range, you still have some overlap between high and low - ie high 1st/2nd is still lower than low 4th/5th, so there is no gap is your ratio selections as there can be with super low transfer gears (eg marlin crawler in hilixen).

not sure on the 75 but on the 80 you need a body lift as well to fit it in
one mate spent over $5k and it died on the first trip before it even went into low.....went in to get repaird 4 times before he got the shits totaly and they wouldnt refund, just fixed again for him to try and sell it second hand
If the above post did not offend you in any way please PM me so I can try harder!!
costs
marks coulnt give me any idea of cost but i would, think that it would be simular in cost to a to a 80 or 100 they were hopping to get it out in 1 to 2 months, i know mud 000 has just finished putting in to his 79 he may have some indication of a final cost, couldnt be much more.

this is Marks' standard answer whenever they are asked when any product will be ready. It is usually a lie, it means 6 months to 2 years.
