I would have a guess that it is a single axle dolly style setup, that elevates 1 axle of the towed vehicle and leaves the other on the road, just guessing, a friend of mine has been using one in Melb for years but I can't help with the legalities sorry.

Thinking about making one for the zook as there was a US based site showing how to do a locking hub mod on the rear axle and it would be easier to tow than a full car trailer.
I'm going to make some phone calls tommorrow and see how i go.
Cheers Nick

I looked into a similar thing and the answer I got from VicRoads was the towing vehicle must be at least 3 times the weight of the vehicle it is towingCWBYUP wrote:Got it in one.droopypete wrote:I would have a guess that it is a single axle dolly style setup, that elevates 1 axle of the towed vehicle and leaves the other on the road, just guessing, a friend of mine has been using one in Melb for years but I can't help with the legalities sorry.

and if looking at these i think they are rated at 1000kgs so youd have to weight the front of what ever you want to tow
