i'll throw another good on ya to midnight.. you got a learning curve still, but you got a hell of a good attitude to the game.

btw ... "oopsie" doesn't really describe a runaway rig...

a good weekend, i didn't roll for starters! The rock still got me beat, gonna have to head down one weekend for some R&D on that thing and the tyre pit still manages to eat me up...

Some good driving Ted to take B lite and a big cheer for the girls in A class...

Thanks to the Suzisport guys for showing up and officialising (and supporting us) as well as the rest of Pete's miracle workers.. a good weekend.

Thanks goes double to all my officials , Jacynta and Dwain (sun) and Mitch (sat) for doing the gates , Wayne and Heather (the lollie lady) from Complete 4x4 at Browns Plains (event sponsor) John Nick Ian Matt Col Jamie+Kerrie Greme+1 (Gale?) Dave and the boys from SuziSport. Troy , usually on the bobcat and all the others that I roped in at the last minute due to lack of reserves. Steve comes to mind and the boys doing the winching on the hillclimb thanks so much guys. I had 28 officials Wed before the event and by the start that was 16 including myself. I lost another 5 between Sat and Sun and had to recruit from the crowd. Thanks so much to those who offered. By June I hope to have a major sponsor of the track so we can have some better seating (level areas) and a better approach to the logistics of the event. Some big ideas are being hatched and lets hope fingers crossed that it can all happen before June.

I also need to say a huge thanks and congratulations to the competitors , as without them , the City-View Trials would not exist spectators would not come to watch and I would not have food on the table. Class's A and B put on a great show and have fun as the event is designed , but without the wow factor for the crowds , that is class C , and the platform that class B can step up and compete with vehicles such as Brett's Mick's and Chris's , it must be said many thanks and well done for being the main attraction of the show.

Cheers

Peter

PS GOOD LUCK to Brian and Ben (class C) Team White Rovie. Initially entered in the Nov comp in class B with a dunger , decided to step up to class C , changed engines , cut the guards and put the 35's on the dunger and a few stickers to hold it together , now they inform me that after their seccess at the Nov & Feb comps they are going to tackle the All Terrain. On behalf of City-View and myself I wish them all the very best for a successful comp and a faverable outcome.

the boys doing the winching on the hillclimb thanks so much guys
Pete this was Colin and his brother in the white GQ (sunday), I am sure he would do it again too, seems to get a thrill out of recovering people :P

Thanks for a great comp - turned out really well despite the hicups. Great idea about the level spectator areas, that will be great
Looking forward to the next one :D

That was my work van, what saved it was that the fridge had flattened the battery so i had jump started :D it 20 minutes before so it was already running. I fair shit myself when i saw the ghostrider mog coming at it. It all ended ok  Maybe if i didnt move it i might of been driving the mog at tuff truck

Was there much damage to Rolly's (???) patrol?

Mick didnt know what to do. First one takes off, then the 2nd one takes off, n next thing he knows, the effie was taking off on him again. Crazy times. :? :? :?

Dont think so the bumper bar only hit the back tyre.

Oh ok. Thats good, at least it didnt do much. I think Mick needs to invest in some decent handbrakes. Either that or tell everyone not to leave the thing on from Bris to Syd (I think).

Was there another car to the right of the patrol? I wasnt looking that way, I was trying not to hit the patrol (Which I failed miserably at)............

The mog has an air handbrake in it which was out of action due to the air compresor having heart failure on saterday. But yes it does have a good one :?
As far as the effie goes Mick usually tries to have it pretty reliable as its got a fair load to carry around. But a fair few diffrent people get to steer it at times and dont tend to let on if it has any dramas. So Mick doesnt find out till he tows the mog somewhere else if there is a problem.

RV80 i am shore Mick would hand over the old girl if you had a bit of damage
 Minus a set of diffs though ;)

i call BS..that would mean he would have to get his wallet out sometime...

i almost saw his wallet one day..the stitching on his pocket had started to come undone and a corner of it poked out...otherwise i have never seen him reach for it ...i am sure the moths would have eaten anything in it by now anyway..
