anyone know where to get some cheap good grade carpet for a set of rear drawers in vic from ?

if your near laverton try the local market. there is a guy that sells carpet very cheap. i got some to carpet the bottom of my kart trailer. he has rubber and marine carpet which im going to line the bottom of my cruiser with and get rid of the shagpile thats in it. other markets might be worth try

A local shop called "***** This and That" sells cheap stuff....cost under $20 to do a whole patrol floor !!!!.

For mine, I just went to the local carpet store and looked through the offcuts that would match, and then they cut it to size for me.

It was pretty cheap too!

If you are after enough to do the complete inside and outside of your drawers, try some of the auction houses. Lots of commercial properties have their carpet replaced with a change of tennants. Cheap as shit too.

Try the dandy market - theres quite a few material and carpet stalls there, at one stage they had all the marine spec carpet, dont know at what price, but drop in

cool fellas :D
will check out bunnings and a few markets
also the industrial carpet mobs
im thinking of using some laminex on the bottom of the drawers and bases(made from chipboard - no rollers)
this should make it roll easyer and it wont drag on the bottom of the drawer
thought id share that tip lol
