Looking for pics of factory coily sierra suspension

Post by zuku26 »

Hello, everyone,
I'm trying to find pics of the suspension set-up on a coily sierra. I'm trying to figure out how to graft that suspension onto a leaf spring unit. The more the merrier!! The pics that I have seen it looks as if they created the suspension to be mounted using the existing leaf spring locations. But you guys that have actually seen these first hand would know more. I plan on running the suspension with no lift at stock hieght.

See my post on your other thread, but coil sierras are radically different to a leaf car. The chassis will interchange, but the chassis itself is totally different, if only shares basic dimensions with a leaf car.

None of the suspension mounts are the same or even in similar locations.

Thanks from the info... So I could at-least swap the body over and have a coily suspension. We have aftermarket coil suspensions here in the US but all are designed in spoa configuration for lift. none come stock height.

Coil SPOA , WTF.
You could swap body's, but for the pain it would be easier to just build a front end yourself.

Hey bud you woukd be better looking into a custom setupit would be easier and apart from that my coil has had the shock towers lowered and im not sure if they are available yet but you couldn't get lifted shocks when i was looking around.

im looking at getting hold of a wide track diff and then getting a 3 link done
