Extended Factory swaybar disconnect

Post by Fozdick »

I finally got around to extending my rear swaybar links
i made up an extended bush (50mm long) for the drivers side dissconnect and tapped it out with a M10x1.25 tap as per original unit then i bought some Nolathane Sway bar links (a kit from repco $60) and cut them to length and screwed them in. On the Passenger side it is just 50mm of 20mm od mild steel tapped to m10x1.25 and bored to take the original link pin by about 10 mil then tig welded into place

hopefully this is useful tec to someone out there

thats whats left of the broken rod end on dissconnect, in the middle
