GQ Diff Gears

looking to change my diff gears to compensate for the 35's. Does anyone know where i can get a cheap set(front and rear) in a 4.3?

we got 4.3's n were afer 4.625s lol
1993 Gq lwb with added xtra's :) sold
fj60,lifted,35s,33s for daily, 3f power!

so do you want to get rid of your 4.3's?
why do you need 4.6's - what size tyres are you running?

you need 4.6s to compensate for 35s

search but depends on what diffs you have now.

If your truck came with 3.9 - 4.3 would be the go for 35's, was with mine..
If your truck came with 4.1's then 4.6 would be the go..

If you wanna be silly, go 4.88's or 5.12's.

4.3s are hard to come by used.. and you can sometimes get em with a dodgey wear pattern in them that causes a annoying whine..

new from nissan are around a grand, used usually mid $400-500's.

A mate of mine is selling his GU diff centres out of 2.8 low k..

no lockers but rear LSD i think he was chasing around $1500 for both front and rear.

I first got genuine 4.62 R&P out of a 99 GU 2.8 td for $275.00, then struggled and got a complete front 3rd. member for $350.00. A few weeks later, bought a complete rear 3rd member for $280.00, which I´m keeping for spares. All 4.62 (8-37). That´s USD (local currency).
GQ TD42, OME 5" suspension, 3" bodylift, shimmed V6 Pathfinder LSD front, ARB rear, Safari snorkel, custom front and rear bumpers, Nissan 4.625 R&P, 37" MTRs.

why do ppls want 4.6's to compensate for 35's.
35's are still fine with 4.1's.
if i went to 37's id get some 4.3's tho
unless you started off with 4.3's ud wanna be running 40's to go to 4.6's
