Yaraka 1000 4WD Rally

There is a new Rally planed for the 17th -25th August 2007. The man behind it originally started the Endevour and Variety rallys.
This rally runs from Land Cruiser Mountain Park to Surfers Paradise via Yaraka aprox 3000 klms with 1000klms of 4wd stages. I have attached a pdf of the details. If anyone needs more info please contact the numbers on the flyer.

I competed in the Wynns Overlander Rally in 1989 this commenced in Bathurst and was based in Yaraka for 5 or 6 days and finished on the Gold Coast. Overlander Magazine were the sponsors and 1st prize was Suzuki Vitara. I think this event was run by a guy called Max Stahl.

Yea, a friend of mine won the vitara, not a bad prize.
