Whats you budget?

Doin the work yourself?

Want Power or economy?

Daily driver or weekend play-thing?

Bit more info might give a better response ;)

commerdore v6 find a vp or vn s2 with kick down cable easier auto to work with get it shift kitted $150 stage 2 marks 4wd conversion kit $1500
motor box $500 $350 exhaust allow $500 for extras do the work your self spend $2500 and you'll have a good allrounder with plenty of power a little thirsty.
very cheap to fix if ever needed
spend some more change your diff ratio 3.7 - 4.11 with 35's to help economy and not need over drive un'till over 100ks then you have a smart tuff 4b then spend some more and put twin transfers in to get the lower range for off road :D
re work springs to flex and long travel shocks $1600

engine conversion $2500 + depending on you doing most labour
diffs ratios $600 - $1600 as above
wheels tyres $1700 as above
twin transfer $1800 as above
springs shocks $1600 as above

total around $10,000 as above

thats what i'd do any way you can dop it in stages and i'd super charge it also but that me

Dont waste your money on the 22R they are a dog. Turbo'd or not. Go with the 2.7 3rzfe. Almost a bolt in job. Just need to mod the mounts a little. You should be able to do this swap for well under $2500. And its a drivable trouble free swap.

350hp maybe once with methanol dont go there if your thinking turbo then a supra motor.
but i hope you have deeeeeeeeeeeeeep pockets because you'll be chasing more boost which is understandalble but lots of $$$$$$, being there done that very cool but not again, forget hp go for torqe and you cant beat cubes. :D

again whats your budget and what do you want to acheive ?????

Go 3RZFE - Easy and ya stick to the toyota name. Bolt in job and easy to wire (after someone shows ya). What RUFF said around $2500. I got one for $2000 with everything needed to do the conversion and was only 4 years old.
Just got to cut off the engine mounts off the chasis and bolt them to ya new motor then drop back down with gearbox on and line up with crossmember. Then weld mounts back on.
