80series/75series diff help!!!

I jus bought a front diff centre off an 80 series, 4.1 ratio and i was just wondering if its the same as the late model 75series high pinion diff centre!!

80series & 75series after 1991 have the same front diff centre

Actually they are similar. I beleive the 80 has a ratio of 4.10 and the 75 is 4.11.

If miss matching them in an 80 series constant 4wd it is possible you could get a very small amount of excessive wear in the centre diff as the ratios would be slightly different. But it will never cause a problem in a 75 as long as you dont drive long distances on high traction surfaces in 4wd such as on the road.
