any dramas with this size rim for 31s x 10.5 or 32x9.5 tyres?
apparently has the -28 offset and am looking for a little increase in track width.
cheers

I have -28 15x8 wheels on mine running 32x10.5 mongrels, but i havent been game to drop the pressures lower than 12psi. I agree that you probably shouldnt run a tyre any thinner than 10.5 on an 8" wide rim
98 WT LWB Maruti, 1.6efi, rockhoppers, 2" body lift, 2" springs, 32" BFG muddies, jimny Power Steer, front lockrite :-)
Why haven't you been game to drop them lower? what is the issue with the wider rim and lower pressure? does the bead break easier?
cheers

Mine are 15" x 8" rims running 32 x 10.50 Mongrels.
They are only just the right size.
Any narrower and the tyres would be subject to sidewall damage, because of the angle of sidewalls.
I believe 7" rims or less for 9 or 9:50 tyres.
The lower the pressure, the more risk of pushing them off.
I found 10psi to be a good compromise for mine.
(tho cos of faulty stauns I was only at 4- 6 on the recent toolang trip)
I also run heavy duty simex tubes in 2 of mine

yeah i thought that may be the case...have sourced some 15x8s in good nick and i think its time to go bigger and get some more flex, while i'm at it with some shackles and a basic no extenssion RUF...
Was good to see your beast in action chris, truly one of the best setup zooks i've seen on a budget and the only reason the cruisers got through that bog hole was because they watched your line first!
