do a search for a similar topic. I posted pics of the carnage min caused. best way to fix it is put a stocker back in for now and order series 3, like I have.

For my zook the series 3 works out pretty much spot on with 31's.
By calculation within 50rpm @ 100kph
in reality I'm sure my bogger 31's have a different rolling diameter to my Yoko 31's and I won't know for sure until I check with GPS
If it's already been thought of...
There has to be a better way...

Compared to a stock transfer setup the series 3 is 22% lower in high range... so if you want to get the exact same rev's vs speeds ratio that you had in stock form, you can work out what tyre size you need as:
new tyre size = old tyre size x 122%
so that's
x = 26 x 1.22
which equals 31.7 - or at least a 31 to 32...
cheers

I just whipped out the calculator and saw what you meant... the series 3 high range only comes out to 12% lower... bizarre.
Dunno stu, maybe Liam can shed some light on this for us?
Actually - quick update:

This says 22% reduction in high range too (phew!)

No worries someone is bound to correct any mistakes....bring on the outerlimits mis-information police.
by my calcs i'm getting a 23% red. in my coiler if i got one, but this extra 10% is something of a mystery.....maybe a 32% red.
26 X 1.32 = 34.32
only if i could lift the car to fit that.

Sounds good mate - right in between a Q78 and a 34x9.5 I think a 32x9.5" centipede would aso be close to that (they are taller than my 34's - which are really 33.6 or something)...
2" body lift, and lose the inner guards at the front and she'll be sweet (well, give or take a few headlights i guess )

It's out of warranty, but we'll look after you anyway. All the new series ones will be one peice billet gears like the series threes. We'll be doing all 4 gears so theres no problems with existing worn gears or anything.
You missed out by literally two hours. Had seven sets left over and suzisport cairns nabbed two, 5 minutes later we get a email from belgium after 5 sets ( they use them in Jimnys) after lunch Tony( ?) called...well gotta wait 4 weeks for the series 3
Is this car a goer? If your really stuck I can pull a set out of another order.
We'll be wanting the old set back ( there's a certain gearcutter who's going to be walking funny...)
