Can anyone tell me what is legal in sports steering wheels, and if they are legal, where to get a boss kit to sit a sierra? They seem to be as rare as rocking horse shit.

any auto place get get one for ya.

swift is the same as well.

sports wheels vary, dont use the bali or smaller than 12" i think also.

ebay sell a boss kit for all wheels like mommo...saas .. etc...


just give ebay a check... they are pritty cheap aswell!

Make sure that whichever boss and steering wheel you choose, they are BOTH ADR compliant. Coppers love finding non ADR parts on cars. Insurance companies will write you off too!.

nic are you sure the swift boss kit will fit a sierra?
I can't find anything on ebay for a sierra, but there are ones there for a swift. If so, i can get one.

autotecnica claim to be made to australian standards, though i can only find this said on one of their wheels. Is this the same as ADR compliant, and is it common to all Autotecnica steering wheels?

are there any cheapos that are ADR comppliant?
I need a smaller wheel to get my knees under a bit easier, and am also considering a spacer (I am 6 foot 5).

I have an autotecnica wheel and boss kit. Both from Autobarn. Wheel was $69 from memory. Boss was $79 I think, could be other way round.

You wouldn't find too many that have adr approved stamped on them as most of them wouldn't be (approved).

You could have an alloy or steel spacer that attached to the kit and then the wheel, but prob won't be legal.

It's also a bitch to wheel bigger tyres around with a smaller wheel.
