Recommended Starter Motor Brands

Post by jsttry »

Sorry for cross posting but just realised I may get more input from the general forum.

OK, am pulling out the second Revolution starter that has failed in 6 months and sending it back for a warranty return. In the mean time I need to buy a new starter for the Land Rover to get me ready for an up coming trip.

What would people recommend:

Bosch $347
OEX $392
Lucas $412

X two hundred and seventy fifty thousand.

Bosch.
Or OEX.
Given that bosch is cheaper, bosch!

the Bosch, it's a no brainer

i have always used Bosh when ever i needed to replace a starter
and have NEVER had an issue with them, i find them a strong unit
and easy to rebuild if the need arises
coming soon to a book store near you.....
