Steering universal Joint - GQ/MQ?

Post by tbjaus2000 »

I have just done a pwr steering conversion on a g60 and the steering shaft angles are out to much. I need to put a universal joint in, preferable connected straight onto the MQ steering box shaft which is 17mm Dia, 36 splines.

Would anyone know if a GQ has universals in steering shaft: and/or if they were same Dia/&spline count??

Can anyone help??

Nissan Pulsar power steering uni-Joint will fit part number N13,I had to use one of these for the Hummer replica cause of the angle of the steering column.

GQ's, MQs; and im pretty sure GU's all use a rubber bush style thing,

80 series landcrusier use univrsal jounts, and the match the spline and shaft diameter of MQ, GQ and most likely GU, so it should suit your application
