Also what sort of carbi is this corolla one ?

Had the same problem with my brothers zuk too. Just crap in the cabie. Like someone said before, the idle jets are tiny, and it doesn't take much to block/obstruct the hole.

When you get a spare weekend, sit down on a nice clean workbench, pull out your service manual, strip it, clean it, check parts for wear, then slap it back together. It's also pay to run another filter between the fuel pump and the carb.

Also, yes, i have seen two or three fairly distorted hands loose the battle against various cars' intakes. Actually, one of my mates thought he'd check the suction on the intake of my old SD33T patrol. He came out with two dislocated fingers, and a BLACK hand about 4 days later. Not nice.
